Who it is for
A professional visit a day or two before company arrives means clear, balanced water and a clean waterline without the scramble.
If you handle the routine but the water has drifted, one visit gets the chemistry reset and gives you a documented baseline to maintain from.
A one-time visit is a low-commitment way to see how TrueBlue works before deciding on biweekly or weekly Spa Care.
What happens on the visit
Tell us about your hot tub and what you are seeing. We confirm the price and a date.
The technician tests the water, balances pH and alkalinity, adjusts the sanitizer, cleans the waterline, removes debris, rinses the filter, and checks the equipment.
You receive service documentation showing the readings and what was adjusted, which is useful if you plan to maintain the water yourself afterward.
When one visit is enough, and when it is not
A one-time cleaning fixes water that has drifted: sanitizer low, pH off, a ring at the waterline, some debris, a filter that needs a rinse. One visit brings all of that back into range and the spa is ready to use once the sanitizer has circulated.
A one-time visit cannot fix water that is spent. If the spa has not been drained in many months, the water is foamy or smells, or it clouds again within a day of being balanced, the dissolved solids are too high for chemistry to hold and the right service is a Spa Refresh: a plumbing purge, full drain, deep cleaning, and fresh fill. We will tell you which one you need before the visit so you are not paying for the wrong service.
One-time versus recurring care
One-Time Spa Care starts at $169 and includes the routine chemicals for that visit. Recurring Spa Care runs $135 per visit biweekly or $100 per visit weekly, and because the water never drifts far between visits, each one is a lighter touch. If you find yourself booking one-time visits more than a couple of times a season, a recurring plan is usually the better value and the water stays better in between.
Pricing applies to standard residential hot tubs up to 500 gallons; swim spas are quoted separately.
One-Time Cleaning questions
How much does a one-time hot tub cleaning cost?
One-Time Spa Care starts at $169 for a standard residential hot tub up to 500 gallons, with the routine chemicals for the visit included.
Does a one-time visit include draining the hot tub?
No. A one-time visit cleans, tests, and balances the existing water. A full water change is our Spa Refresh service, which includes a plumbing purge, drain, deep cleaning, refill, and fresh-water startup.
Can I book a one-time visit before a party?
Yes. Give us a day or two of lead time so the sanitizer has circulated and the water is settled before your guests arrive.
Do I have to sign up for recurring service?
No. One-Time Spa Care is a single visit with no plan. If you later want recurring care, biweekly and weekly Spa Care are available.
What if the water is too far gone?
If the water needs a full replacement, we recommend a Spa Refresh instead of a one-time visit, and we tell you before the visit so you are booking the right service.
Do you clean the filter during a one-time visit?
The visit includes a filter rinse as needed. A full filter deep cleaning is part of a Spa Refresh, and replacement cartridges are available at an additional cost.
