The Opening + Follow-Up Vacuum Visit is $649 and adds one scheduled return visit to vacuum and finish the cleanup once the water settles. Add-ons: winter cover removal $75, in-ground pool cleaner setup $100 each, attached spa $75, and a cartridge or DE filter cleaning $75. Chemicals are not included and are billed separately at standard rates. Green or heavily neglected pools may need extra treatment, and we always tell you before performing any additional billable work.
No. Every opening includes a full water test and a written chemical recommendation, so you know exactly what the pool needs to get in range. Any chemicals we add are billed separately at standard rates, which keeps the pricing transparent and itemized: you only pay for the chemicals your pool actually needs.
Most pools in our area should be opened in late April or early May, once daytime temperatures stay above 70 degrees consistently. Opening earlier helps prevent algae growth under the cover.
A typical opening takes 2 to 3 hours. If the pool needs extra cleaning or equipment repairs, it may take a bit longer.
We clean and fold your cover and leave it on your property in a convenient location. We do not offer off-site storage at this time.
Once you have added the chemicals from our written recommendation, give them time to circulate and retest before swimming. Wait until chlorine and pH are back in the normal range, which is usually 24 to 48 hours after a shock treatment.
